The SCR – System for Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility is the orderly and natural evolution of the activities and projects of social and humanitarian nature developed for more than twenty years, notably planned and implemented by its non-economic or non-profit purpose sister company, ABDES, and its predecessors. The SCR System assumes the existence of the interest and desire of corporations, generally medium to large ones, to implement their own social and environmental responsibility program, either by the constitution of their own formal structure as an institute, association or foundation, or by the necessary involvement of its employees in internal activities of volunteering and effective participation in decision-making and development of internal and external actions and projects.
It is, therefore, the adoption of practices in constant alignment of the company's strategic interests of profitability and prosperity together with the interests of its employees in search of a better work environment, strengthening of the institutional image, self-esteem of employees and business harmony, with a hybrid organizational design in line with the internal and external environment. The SCR System evaluates and determines the profile of interest of the corporation at all its hierarchical levels, acting as educator and facilitator of intramural relations and proposes extramural actions always commanded by its main actors, controllers and collaborators who establish among themselves, a pact of mutual and collective commitment, towards the most advanced stage of corporate socio-environmental responsibility, when citizenship actions are integrated into the corporate core business itself.
